This blog is run by Fit On Tour Founder, Andrea MacNeil - a road warrior herself…
Andrea has been touring steadily for the last 6 years, and in the first few years of travels really struggled to find a balance with health and fitness while on the road. Between long work hours, time zones, and all the indulgences possible at her fingertips, she couldn’t quite figure out how to maintain the lifestyle in a way that would sustain - a problem we know many of us face in life - on or off the road.
After spending a few years of constant travel, from Chile to Australia to Amsterdam to Shanghai, and everywhere in between, she was eating carbonara for breakfast, an Aperol Spritz’ for lunch, pizza and beers for dinner, and in n’ out burger for a late night snack (no joke..), all while getting little to no exercise before hitting a wall of exhaustion - mentally and physically. She decided that was the end and that she wanted a change in order to sustain the life she was living. Enter Fit On Tour.
Andrea is not a fitness instructor, or nutritionist (that’s what our team of specialists is for!) and is not striving for perfection, just progress - she still very much enjoys happy hours and indulgences but has found a balance that now works. This blog will share personal stories from the Fit On Tour community, as well as tips, tricks and behind-the-scenes with some of your favourites!
